We present the NEW VERSION of the Writer's Portal app (beta version), one of the oldest online writing workshops on the internet.

A complete redesign that... COMES WITH SURPRISES!

We have created a simple and lightweight app, but full of useful resources for writers. In addition to Diana P. Morales' tips (a writer and writing teacher for over 20 years), the two weekly writing challenges, and the character generator (expanded in this version), we now add... A STORY GENERATOR BY GENRES!

Here are the improvements of the new version:

• STORY AND CHARACTER GENERATOR

We have a new story generator!

We have been working for months to create a unique story generator that provides you with interesting stories to trigger your ideas. Choose your favorite literary genre (horror, science fiction, fantasy, realistic, or noir) and click GENERATE... once or a thousand times: there are millions of combinations.

And the best part is that, just like with the character generator, you can edit and share them on social networks from the app itself!

Now expanded! Need a strong secondary character? Or ten characters? Looking for inspiration for your stories or novels? Our character generator is both unique and simple: you can create unlimited characters with dramatic details, peculiarities, contradictions, fears, hobbies... they seem truly alive and unique. Choose your character's gender, nationality, and era and generate as many as you want with just a button click. And you can edit and share them from the same app.

Remember that our generators are an EVER-GROWING project. There will be regular updates and improvements.

Now with a new aesthetic and direct access to the latest article!

• THE WRITER'S PORTAL COMMUNITY

In the app, you can see the TWO weekly writing challenges from the Facebook group "La aventura de escribir de Portal del escritor,” as well as a link to the winners.

You can request access to the group (be patient, there are many pending requests and only a limited number are admitted each week) or write on your own to tackle the creative challenges and keep your writing in shape.

In addition, our app provides access to the virtual classroom for ENROLLED students of Writer's Portal and information about Diana P. Morales' writing manuals.

• NEW DESIGN

We have created a new visual and intuitive design to facilitate navigation. Similarly, we have reduced the app's size for quicker loading.

As always, it includes ads with information about our workshops and writing manuals.
